Support for groups and individuals who have experienced loss and are feeling stuck

This is for you if an unwanted life event has left you feeling lost and hopeless and you would like to work together to move forward.

compassionate and practical support to guide you safely back to solid ground

Most of us experience loss at some point in our life, and we all process differently.
But once in a while an event quite simply knocks the stuffing out of us and we cannot see how to move forward.
As a grief coach, I’m not there to fix you. My job is to be your lighthouse, offering compassionate and practical
support to guide you safely back to solid ground, and equip you with the tools you need to take the
gentle steps towards a meaningful life in this ‘new normal’.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

INDIVIDUALS

This is for you if an unwanted life event has left you feeling lost and you would like to work together to find meaning and joy in this new normal.

GROUPS

I offer 6-session Life after Loss group work for up to 8 people in community settings.

ORGANISATIONS

This is for organisations that understand the need to support their employees as they navigate bereavement and other loss.

Neuro Divergence and GrieF

Being neurodivergent myself and attracting ND clients, I bring a unique understanding of how neurodivergent individuals often process grief outside of societal expectations.

Accountability Partner

Sometimes we need a person to keep us on track as we work towards a deadline. As a mentor and coach, I can provide a clear, focussed, accountability service for short term projects.

About Jane

Hi, I’m Jane.I’ve had my fair share of losses: bereavement (including beloved pets), an empty nest, significant relationships ending, redundancy, and menopause. But the one that really got me was having to quit my job leading the organisation I founded and loved, as a result of developing Long Covid in 2022.My future plans—gone! Just taken away by an illness no one really understood.I was lost. My whole identity as a go-getter was, well, gone. I had always loved adventures, dancing, and climbing mountains; then, I found myself unable to stand up long enough to wash dishes.Who the heck was I now? And what future was there for me?I was angry, sad, confused, lost, hopeless, isolated, in denial, ashamed, embarrassed, cast adrift, and exhausted. I believed my life was over and I would never feel joy again. And no, I haven’t made a miraculous recovery, but with a lot of help from my friends, I managed to find a new normal. I still miss the mountains, but I have found a new way to live—which includes the delight of afternoon cinema! And I am happy.Within that process, I found new ways to use my knowledge, skills, and experience gained over 30 years of supporting, coaching, and mentoring people.
